Clarivel Martínez
About Me
Clarivel Rosanna Martínez Gross was born on November 6, 1974, in Guayubín, Monte Cristi, Dominican Republic, to Adrianno Manuel Martínez Sosa and Pura Gross Guzmán. Since 2017, she has resided in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Clarivel is known for her devotion to family, enthusiasm for travel, and willingness to take on challenges and embrace change.
Before moving to the United States, she completed her studies in Advertising and Administration, accumulating over fifteen years of experience in Sales. In 2022, to honor her mother Pura Gross Guzmán’s legacy, she founded “Tata’s Day Care LLC”, named after her mother’s affectionate nickname “Tata”. The following year, she earned the Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in Bilingual Family Child Care from Grand Rapids Community College. Since 2024, she has been pursuing an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Development at Muskegon Community College.
Thanks to the support of her family, team, and several key programs and institutions in her professional development, “Tata’s Day Care LLC” was recognized as one of the Top Women-Owned Small Businesses of 2025 by Michigan Celebrates Small Businesses and was nominated for the Most Promising Hispanic Business Award of 2025 at the annual West Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (WMHCC) gala.
Clarivel’s deep passion for early childhood education and her unwavering commitment to the community continue to drive her mission to shape the next generation as reflective, balanced, and with committed individuals. Her new project, “Tata’s Day Care Center Inc”, is expected to open its doors this year.
