About Me
Born in Puebla, Mexico, with a heart rooted in Chiapas, María Angélica “Marian” Esnoval Hernández is a woman who has transformed her story of hard work, migration, and personal evolution into a purpose-driven brand. A psychologist by training and a curious soul since childhood, she has worked in various human and social fields, ranging from education to personal consulting.
Upon migrating to the United States, she faced the challenge of reinventing herself in a new country. Her professional journey ranged from cleaning and childcare work to carving out a place for herself in an industry completely unfamiliar to her: sales in a dental laboratory, where she developed skills she never imagined she would master.
With the birth of her daughter and a desire to create a project aligned with her values, “Cafetal Coffee” was born: a brand that seeks to reconnect Mexican consumers with their roots, bringing them closer to their cities and traditions through the aroma and flavor of coffee. At the same time, it offers coffee lovers and fans of Mexican culture a new reason to continue discovering our land in every cup. More than selling coffee, Marian aims to raise awareness about the origin and dignity of the work behind every bean.
Through Cafetal, she combines her passion for well-being, cultural identity, and fair trade. Every step she takes is a way to honor her roots and contribute to ensuring more households come to understand the true value of Mexican coffee—with a strong conviction to positively impact coffee-growing communities and support improvements in their future harvests.
