About Me
Vivian Ochoa is a businesswoman, event designer, and pastry specialist based in Florida. She was born on May 17, 1978, in Valencia, Venezuela, and grew up with a rich multicultural heritage: an Ecuadorian father and a Colombian mother. From an early age, her life was marked by resilience and hard work. Becoming a mother at eighteen awakened in her a determination to study Business Administration, and she later went on to work in Venezuela’s public sector as an auditor and budget analyst.
After building and running businesses in Venezuela, growing insecurity and the country’s crisis led her to migrate to the United States with her family. In the midst of that transition, a family health crisis forced her to focus on what mattered most and begin again without letting go of her faith or creativity. With that same determination, she transformed a talent she had long cultivated out of love for pastry and decoration into a new professional path.
In 2018, she founded “Decor Dreams & Cakes,” a company born from a homemade cake that grew into a full-service event planning and production business. Today, Vivian leads a team that creates weddings, quinceañeras, family celebrations, and corporate events throughout Florida and, when needed, across the country. With a holistic vision, she attends to every detail, including flowers, balloons, catering, coordination, and pastry, ensuring that each event is an emotional experience, not only an aesthetic one.
Her motto, “You dream it, we make it come true,” reflects her commitment to turning dreams into reality. For Vivian, entrepreneurship means trusting in God, staying focused, and building a strong team. Her story honors the love she carries for her children, Ariana, Anakin, and Avril, and her conviction that light, too, can become a legacy.
