Alma Valenzuela
About Me
Alma Valenzuela was born on September 10, 1977, in Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico. She completed her elementary education at Colegio Los Ángeles, and both middle and high school at Colegio La Paz. She then pursued a degree in Marketing at Tecnológico Sierra Madre and enriched her academic journey with various certifications in Communication and International Leadership, offered by Universidad Autónoma de La Laguna and Universidad Iberoamericana.
In 1997, she began her professional career in the mobile phone activation department at Telcel. A year later, she completed her community service at Ciudad de París, a sister company of Grupo Soriana. In 1999, she worked with Grupo Tricio, the majority shareholder of Grupo Lala. Upon finishing her degree in 2000, she moved to Phoenix, Arizona, to study English for six months at Arizona State University (ASU).
Later that same year, upon returning to Torreón, she joined the Marriott Hotel in the public relations department. In 2003, she started working at a publishing house affiliated with Planeta Editores. In 2016, she joined GRUPO CARSO as a national sales agent for fiber optics. From 2018 to 2020, she was part of the team at Seguros Monterrey, focusing on public relations and sales.
Since 2020, Alma has lived in Pontiac, Michigan. In 2021, she founded a massage space dedicated to body care and relaxation. That same year, she began her studies in Biodecoding and started her training in Reiki, with the goal of achieving a master level in this practice. In 2023, she earned certifications in Wood Therapy and alternative body contouring treatments. In 2024, she obtained a certification in the use of Diathermy Equipment for facial paralysis treatment. Most recently, in 2025, she became certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage and pain reduction techniques for post-surgical recovery.
